The main ideas I like about chapter 1. What I really liked is how you can narrow your subject to a topic. First you have to subdivide your subject to ask questions by reading or talking to anyone. For instance if your writing about a certain story you would have to some research on your topic. You might chose to write about something that you have experience with, base it on reading that you've done, by observation, or by interviewing people. Interviews and questionnaires can supply you with detailed and interesting information in narrowing your topic.
Once you have those questions answered there are a few different ways that you can start brainstorming ideas in a group, debating a point with friends. Their is a lot to do to make your topic easy by annotating texts and taking notes, Listing, Clustering and freewriting.
I plan to use this information on what I learned in this chapter when I write. I really like the tips given for planning what to write. I plan to brainstorm more efficently when I want to write, creating lists, and free writing are the most helpful things listed in this week’s chapter. Even though those are the strategies that I prefer I also want to try using the cluster diagram.
